This museum will be a real treat for any former Navy officer or military enthusiast. The Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum includes the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier, the USS Growler submarine, the Enterprise space shuttle, and many other exhibits from the US Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, and NASA. Check their schedule to see when tours will be offered and new exhibits will be on display.
The museum offers tours of the Intrepid, Growler, and Concorde, and though much of the ships are wheelchair accessible, not everything can be. They offer senior discounts and all restroom, dining areas, flight deck, hangar deck, and mess deck are fully accessible. They offer virtual tours for those who cannot see every part of the museum.
