Home Health Aides

Skilled, compassionate home health aides ensure that patients’ health care needs are met and the directives of the patients’ doctors, nurses and other medical professional are carried out. A home health aide (HHA) also provides companionship and general help. A home attendant can also provide peace of mind to a family caregiver who can't always be present to assist their loved one.

Nursing

Registered nurses are on call 24 hours a day to answer questions, administer treatments, ensure that physicians’ orders are followed, and to provide direction and guidance to home health aides (HHAs). Nurses are also available to speak with family caregivers.

Personal Care

Home attendants assist with the basic needs of patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming and meal preparation. Through the home care assistance they provide, our caregivers enhance patients’ dignity and quality of life, while offering much-needed companionship.

Homemaking

A home health aide (HHA) takes care of patients’ everyday errands and shopping needs. They also handle light housekeeping tasks such as doing laundry, washing dishes, changing linen and general tidying. Home attendant assistance is a big benefit to the patient and can also take a load off of a family caregiver.

  • It is my immense pleasure to inform you that my family is very pleased with Guerli Jean as a caregiver for my mom Gertrude Mercado. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers/Dementia three years ago and it has been difficult on the family.

  • I was visiting Parker this week and had an opportunity to meet Mireille and observe her in action. I was very, very happy to see the care she takes of my uncle. She is respectful of his need for private space, but always right there if he needs anything.

  • I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for your unstinting help in taking care of my father. I can’t overstate what a difference it has made in his life. Please also extend our personal thanks to S.F. (our coordinator).

  • We would like to thank Edison Home Health Care’s amazing staff for taking such wonderful care of our grandmother. Two years ago, she suffered a stroke, rendering her immobile.

  • My mother suffered a traumatic brain injury ten years ago, which sadly caused her severe physical, mental and emotional disabilities.
