We are committed to helping all of our employees receive a vaccination immunization before this date.

Who is required to be vaccinated?
All Edison Home Health Care employees that have interaction with consumers. This includes home health aides (HHAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Nurses. CDPAP personal assistants are not required to be vaccinated.
Are there any exceptions?
Employees that have a qualified Medical exemption are not required to have a vaccine.
What qualifies for a Medical exemption?
If a licensed physician or certified nurse practitioner certifies that immunization with COVID-19 vaccine is detrimental to your health, based upon a pre-existing health condition, you will not be required to have a vaccine. This exemption must be in accordance with generally accepted medical standards and is only applicable only until such immunization is found to no longer to be detrimental to your health. The nature and duration of the medical exemption must be stated explicitly by the licensed physician or certified nurse practitioner.
What if I have antibodies? Does that qualify for an exemption?
Having antibodies does not qualify for an exemption.
